REBECCA L. HUNGERFORD

Name: Rebecca Hungerford

History:
Began working with gold, silver and pewter while still in high school. Following college she moved to the Boston area where she worked for a jeweler, a silversmith and a stained glass studio. Three years after studying pewtersmithing in Canada, she returned to her home in northern Ohio and in the fall of September 1975, opened a small shop in Bath, Ohio.

During her first twenty years as a pewtersmith Rebecca focused primarily on designs with traditional themes but, in 1995 began producing completely new and original works. It was at this time, her art became widely noticed and enthusiastically collected.
